You must remember that God is sovereign and He always creates good out of evil. Many of those supposedly dumb happy people who eschew social media, geopolitics, and the pressing issues of the day, who focus on their work, family, friends, and church, understand this profound wisdom.

The war between good and evil continues, even though God is sovereign and the outcome is not in doubt. Nevertheless, “The devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” We are born again in Christ, but we are still besieged. Sometimes we win. Often we fail. When we fail we are sent to the field hospital, we confess, we repent, are forgiven by the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, and are sent back into the fight.

All well and good, but in the trenches, the battle is political. It is the U.S. supplying and supporting Israel as they ethnically cleanse Gaza. It is the United States sacrificing a generation of Ukrainian young men in order to destroy Russia for the sin of not bowing to American hegemony. It is America that is surrounding China with military bases and using Taiwan as a proxy to threaten China for the crime of becoming prosperous and powerful.

It is the United States of America that is fighting a rear guard action to the death to prevent the emergence of a new multi-polar world order in which there is equality of national sovereignty.

The pulpit cannot be the platform for advancing sides in this political war. All true Christians agree about the real struggle., but not necessarily about the political specifics. We are fish swimming in a sea of propaganda. The only sure truth is the Gospel.

We are all brainwashed to a greater or lesser degree. There are those who prefer being brainwashed and resent any intrusion of the truth, and there are those who although brainwashed would rather not be and who welcome the truth. No one believes they are the former. Everyone believes they are the latter.

The truth is available to those who want the truth, but it requires some effort to seek it out. Lies are available for those who don’t want the truth. No effort required. They will come to you. Just don’t question them.

Brainwashed: Inducing a set of beliefs in someone by controlling the information they receive and by applying peer pressure.

We are in a world war between those who believe that everyone matters, i.e. those who believe that we are all created in the image of God, and those who believe that most people don’t matter. Those who believe that most people don’t matter, no matter how high their position in the elite hierarchy, inevitably live with the constant fear that they themselves may be among those who don’t matter. They are right to fear because the truth is, unless everyone matters, nobody matters. This fear drives them to propound insane Dr. Strangelove theories of depopulation and transhumanism, to erase the difference between men and women, to wage constant war, to accumulate vast wealth.

This cosmic war is not between God and Satan, who is God’s creature, an angel that fell from Heaven. The war is between God’s love for us, love that wants only to bless us with abundant and everlasting life, and our pride, our desire to be God, to overthrow Heaven and sit on the throne ourselves.

Bombing everyone in the Middle East, the disaster in Ukraine, arming Taiwan, destroying Europe. I think it’s all about looting. Big Pharma, the military industrial complex, Black Rock and Vanguard, and the Biden crime family, etc. know that the Empire is on its last legs and they don’t have much time so they are trying to grab as much as they can before it all collapses.

If I understand campus speech codes correctly, black people, brown people, gay people, transgender people, non-binary people, fat people, and women (forgive me if I missed anyone), must all be shielded from #FreeSpeech. The only exceptions are white heterosexual males, and Jews.

Two conservative blogs that I have long followed, PowerLineBlog (@PwrLineUS) and FrontPageMag (@fpmag), both have articles stating that there are no innocent civilians in Gaza, meaning, presumably, that killing them all is acceptable. If you disagree, you are an antisemite.

We are the enemy, not China, not Russia, not Iran, not North Korea, not Cuba, not Venezuela, not Gaza, not every nation in the world except the United States. We, the United States, are the enemy of peace.
