Corporations don’t like being political. Traditionally they have avoided politics like the plague. As Michael Jordan once said, “Republicans buy sneakers too.” There’s a reason why major corporations have begun taking political sides against voter id and in favor of men competing in women’s sports and other left-wing causes, and it’s not altruism. It’s because they are convinced that the leftist totalitarians are winning, and totalitarians don’t like people or corporations trying to remain neutral. If Delta and the MLB and Nike thought this was all going to blow over, they would stay out of it, but they are afraid that if they don’t submit, they will become the next target. Being able to say, “We were with you from the beginning, comrade”, will have real value in the future.
