What Personal Information does pubblog.com keep if I make a purchase?
We keep a record of what you purchased, when, and how much it cost you. We keep your name and contact details on file, to verify your identity should you contact us regarding a lost order id.
How about my credit card information?
Our store handles payment processing via a secure gateway provided by Authorize.Net. We do not keep any credit card information in our database or anywhere on our site. We keep in our database a transaction ID which references each sale, so should we need to issue refunds we do not need your card number. Our connection to Authorize.Net is secured via encrypted SSL.
What About Cookies?
A cookie is a piece of data that identifies you as a unique user, it is stored temporarily on your hard drive by your web browser. The cookies we use are very small, only a couple of hundred bytes.
We use cookies to identify you to our online store, so that we can keep track of your basket. Our cookies store no personal information about you, and none of your credit card information.
Does pubblog.com share my information with others?
We do not share, sell or distribute any information that we store about our customers to other companies or individuals.
Is my information secure when being transmitted while using your store?
Our store communicates with your browser securely, by encrypting your data by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software. Your billing details, credit card details and other supplied information are all transmitted this way.
Your credit card details are then transmitted, via encrypted SSL connection to Authorize.Net to authorize the charge to your card.
