Just a thought. Bill Clinton won the presidency because of Ross Perot. He had no chance without a split ticket. Hillary asked her friend at the time to do her a similar favor. However, being the opportunist he was, when he had a real chance to win, he took it. He was the joy of the let’s media until he won the nomination. Now, he would be able to split the ticket because he was the ticket. Hillary felt betrayed and in typical Jezabel fashion tried to shut him down by using all the other men at her disposal. Unfortunately for her, he was not hated as much as she be the majority of people in the correct places. She spent the next four years sabotaging his presidency until it was handed over to a convalescent old puppet that was married to a similar woman willing to exploit her man for power.
