Got some free HBO from our beneficent cable provider. So I watched an episode of WestWorld on HBO. It’s the old sentient robot story. I liked it. It made many interesting observations about consciousness and sin, and it had fabulous writing, acting, and production values, but I just don’t buy the premise.
I know of many many smart people, people much smarter than me, people like Elon Musk and Marvin Minsky, who believe in this shit. But I just don’t buy it. Consciousness is not a super large pile of zeros and ones. Consciousness is the presence of God in his creation. And nothing becomes conscious without God’s sayso.
We are not living in a computer simulation. These smart people are full of it, as are so many smart people these days.
All of the earthly powers, including the “smart” people, are aligned against Donald Trump. The name for all of the earthly powers is Satan. If it occurs, the election of Donald Trump will be a miracle. I know. I know. Donald Trump is a poor vessel, in many ways, for being the instrument of divine intervention. But he has received the Call, and he has the guts and the love to answer it.
